Hi J Watson The numbers you list (1, 2, 3, 4, 5a etc), are not option numbers. They are the ADRs (Australian Design Rules) that the car was built to comply with. If you want info about your car, its best to list all the numbers off the 3 ID plates ( Edited by user Thursday, 2 October 2008 6:37:48 PM(UTC)

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

ADR 9 is for automatic isolator switch. This should mean your car is originally a manual car,as its not mentioned in the ADR compliance numbers.

Warren. You may be able to solve something that has been puzzling me. I have these codes from Transport SA. I assume all the states would have implemented them at the same time and they would have been the same rules Australia wide. Yes Paul they should all come in at the same time at all plants, as cars are shipped all over the country from some plants, ie Brisbane did not make Statesman so had to get them from other plants.
I do not have EHQ from Melbourne to compare, but agree

hq ss,
The Melbourne plant stopped production of HQ passenger vehicles soon after LH Torana production was in full swing. As all LH vehicles were built here there was no room for HQ passenger cars. HQ commercials and Bedford continued alongside LH.
