                i have been told that the master cyl is different on cars with a disc diff compared to a car with a drum diff.is this true or a load of shit.i carn't see them changing the master cyl for a minor change,but i could be wrong.thanks

                Yes the master cylinder is different in that it doesn't have a residual line pressure valve in it when used with disc brakes. 
  You can get the residual line pressure valve removed to convert the master cylinder for use with discs.

                Yes, you can. Just remove the valve otherwise the discs will drag. 
   Remember the all important handbrake cable too.
  I've done the drum --> disc conversion on my XB. My master cyl didn't even have the valve in it. Car may have been a disc b
