Hi all,
Hoping someone can help - how hard is it to replace valve stem oil seals - this is on a 250 2V (precrossflow) - I've read that you can do this without removing head by either pressurising cylinder with air or by stuffing nylon rope thru plug hole (that was in a Ford manual) Anyone done this? How hard? How much do the set of seals cost?

Thanks!!!

pressurise the cyl is ok if the valves seal properly.
seals are worth peanuts ( only umbrella type ) be sure to loosen the collets while still in retainer with a sharp whack with soft hammer before u compress the spring and remove.
