Hi, I need to fit a heater module so my aircon will work in cold weather. When my aircon guy tried to put a replacement in , the top plastic piece broke , of cours. It is 22 years old and runs like a dream my falcon , excellent . I bought a replacment part for the broken plastic. However i have been told a heater module can be installed a different way , can anybody give me ideas as to how it may be done, cheers

22 years old, means it's probably a BA Falcon & you're referring to the HIM module. It is really just a HIM, otherwise it's a HVAC interface module module.

Anyway, the only proper way to go about the job is to remove (or partially remove) the entire dash.

This is a common repair, so shop around & find somebody who will do it at "mates rates".

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
