Hi folks. I'm now stripping the doors on my ZD fairlane for rust repairs and paint work. I'm stuck on the stainless trims that run along the top of the door next to the window channel. The workshop manual suggests that it should just pop off when i disengage the retaining clips underneath but the best it will do is slide about an inch along the clips. I'm reluctant to force it as i dont want to damage it. Are there any tricks to this procedure? Thanks
