Hey guys

Can I find out the first place the 173 engine were fitted, was HG?
Also I'm sure the 202 was first in HG, can someone please confirm

173 in HQ as production but they most likely would have run them in HG or LC to test then into HQ pilots. The schedule would have seen enough 161 and 186 built for HG commercial to cover until initial HQ volume production began, then swapped HG over to 173 and 202. I doubt 202 would have been trialled in LC. Not sure exactly when LC changed to 173 but it’s easy to check - my guess is the same as HG, enough 161 would have been produced to last a little while into HQ volume production.
I do have the car recorded somewhere that the first HQ number ie QD1001 went into. It was one of the HQ pilots.
