Big Mac. Power saving mode VE commodore.

I have a 2010 VE Commodore 6 cyl wagon.
It keeps going into power saving mode after only 20 minutes of driving. I can then only travel at 40 klms. Has anyone had similar issues and can you please tell me what you found it to be and what was done to fix it. Is it just the transmission telling me that it needs a service or perhaps something more serious. Would very much appreciate any feedback as l need the car to get to work.

I would suggest taking it to a reliable workshop & getting him to scan it for fault codes to start with.
