I submit that due to the admissions by blue1avn of stealing copyrighted works from Warren Turnbull, who we all acknowledge as one of the most knowledgeable and respected posters here, and who some of us call "Mother Warren", "Ma Turnbull", or "The Monaro Boss", the member blue1avn should be stripped of his fastlane membership and excommunicated from the Fastlane fraternity.
Sign below to agree. If you dont agree you are a naughty person. Unless you are Warren who will probably just take it all in his stride and not understand what all the fuss is about and not want to make waves. In which case we can start a later petition to excommunicate Warren. And possibly Ben as well.

Considering the books out of print, and Blue1avn isnt making a profit from it, and if he bought a legit copy secondhand Warren still wouldnt make any money from it, whats the problem?
We should ban all the anonymous wannabe lawyers instead.

Its only a book,Probably a great one though.I bet if you asked Warren ,he would be sick of all this crap and if not then I believe this is HIS buisness not ours.Also,I really like the answers I/we get from all forum-ers and dont want to annoy them so they Edited by user Tuesday, 20 January 2009 5:53:58 AM(UTC)

I think its fine to pooh pooh the law and defend your mates but the law is there to protect everyone from all walks of life and in all circumstances, so if you start being selective in its application you are only diluting your own rights as a citizen.

if the opinion is that its fine as a resource to take a copy,then whats the chances of it made available on the net?

and before people start complaining they will lose their "investment" if copies are available, if rare spares decided to tool up an entire HK/G/T body shell and floor pan, would you jump up and complain about that too?

I fail to see anywhere here of anyone admiting to breach of copyright on the Monaro Story. If there has been please let me know where as we have finally had enough and there are some people that are going to get a big surprise this year.

It is very difficult to inforce that breach of copyright, and there are a lot of people out there, even when in pint, that simply photocopied it.
The problem was many owners of these books that they lent to people who then copied them, found theirs fel
