Hi Warren,
To my knowledge we have not experienced any problems with any of the universal joints we sell.
Can you please tell me where you bought them and if possible the brand.
Regards
Dave

I have known of universal joints coming loose because of tailshaft mis alignment, caused by incorrect position and angle of engine mounts welded to HR front ends, incorrect height of rear gearbox crossmember, incorrect diff pinion angle, or a combination of one or more of these.

A mechanic should have the tools and knowledge to check the tailshaft angles and ascertain what if any mis alignment has caused any mechanical failures. Fix the cause rather than keep replacing the worn part.
If it is old or rare - Cut it! http://www.ehlimo.com.au/
