Hey gents. I have a HG premier that I put a shortened borgwarner diff in and want to change the stud pattern to HQ. Before I get the axles made up am I better off going hq drum brake backing plate or commodore backing plate?? If I go commodore backing plate will the hq drums work on that brake setup? Or will the HQ style backing plate bolt on to the borgy diff no problems? I believe the diff is an M75 with VN 31 spline axles. Cheers

better start measuring, the only way to tell...

don't forget the handbrake setup. HQ very different to a VN BW diff!
