Purchased a 1999 VT Berlina about a year ago and when i wash the car the door seals leak and the carpet gets saturated.
Ive heard that this problem was fixed in the VT Series II models - was it ?
& has anyone else had this problem?

Hi there Annoyed,
I had a 97 VT that leaked when I washed it as well, I used to wash it with the a/c fans running on recirc and it seemed to pressurise the cab enough to stop mine leaking around the centre pillars and it used to drip into the rear footwe

I had a VT Exec. from new and found the carpet on drivers side rear floor would get wet after light rain lasting for a long time if the vehicle was parked on a slight downhill slope . The dealers replaced the door seal and the seal on the lower edge but t

We repair VT water leaks at the doors by sealing the inner door plastic liner they had a problem with the glue on the inner door seal at the bottom Holden sell a roll of sealer to fix this as a service fix hope this helps
