Im installing thr original am radio into the ute. I can see that it attaches to the dash by using barrell nuts but is it supported at the back as well?

My one was just held in with the nuts through the dash.

I think it depended upon how slack the dealer was. Most radios were dealer fitted, mainly only high end cars that had radio fitted in the assembly plants. |
