Can you spray over a VIN Plate or body plate or do they have to be silver?

Brisbane painted over body plate from HT and Melbourne painted over them in HQ on. So paint over is not a problem as they have nothing to do with registration.

Compliance plate maybe different.

That is what Warren was referring to. Brisbane also painted over VIN plate for some vehicles. ADR plate was always naked (this is what Warren is talking about with compliance plate).
