Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem of mine? I have a vr Calais stage 2 shift kitted box and generally all round nice car but I blew the motor I have a vs ecotec I can get the motor and wiring loom out of but I need to know if the vr gearbox will bolt onto the ecotec motor |

The VR auto will bolt up, but will not run off the VS computer (they are different internally & electrically in a few key areas).
If you have the VS available, get the loom, PCM, motor & auto as a complete package & use that.
Not a perfectly straight swap, as a few wires need rerouting in the body loom, but it's not hard to get it going - the average auto sparky will only need a couple of hours. |

Thanks a lot mate, I'll be getting the complete bs so what ever I need I will have. Just have to go to auto electrics and see how much they want to do the wiring for me |
