After looking at the feedback, all I can ask is Why on earth would you even buy off someone with feedback that is that bad?? I get concerned if someone has 2 or 3 negs.

Maybe the mods could change the name of this thread to something like "AT racing world complaint" That way if other have the same issue and they want support and google AT racing world complaints it will come to this page.

Just a thought.

I to have been ripped off by AT Racing, I received a number of items from them including a new Dizzy and electronic ignition setup. The coil had a screw or something clanging around inside it and the Dizzy had a broken screw stuck to the magnet inside the cap, I immediately took it that these items had been damaged in transit. I contacted Julie who told me to speak with Jason from USA perf, amazingly he assessed the items over the phone and told me they were fine, I wasnt using the items and he told me to return them. After chasing them for 3 mths I got my money back, minus a hefty 26% restock. It cost me $205 to return the faulty items. Never deal with Julie at ATR Or Jason from USA Perf again.

Hi ABC
Send an email to the ACCC link http://www.accc.gov.au/c...index.phtml/itemId/54217 I have managed to contact 30 or so people who have left negative feedback for A T racing world but I have been banned from useing the "contact member" link to contact people. I can now only contact sellers or buyers when there is an active auction or "buy it now".
I still havnt received my refund either from A T racing world or paypal (so called paypal buyer protection). A T racing world took possesion of and signed for the kit I returned at Paypals instructions on the 23 July 2009. I have written to paypal 3 times informing them that A T racing world have taken possesion of and signed for the kit and the tracking/con note number. All I get back from paypal is
"As you know, were investigating a problem that you had with a recent transaction.
Its taking a little longer than we expected to reach a decision. Were actively working on your case and will notify you on the next steps as soon as possible".
Paypal accepted and granted my claim on the 7 June 2009. It has now been 2 months that these arse holes have had my $1000.

I am been stuffed around by paypal. A T racing world is a major customer of theirs. A T Racing world illegally and willingly false advertise their products. They get all upset when they get caught. They will not replace the wrong items when asked. You have to send the s*** back at your cost and then they take forever to refund your money. Right now it is theft and I will be calling the NSW Police tomorrow. I cant walk into a store and grab what I want and pay for it when and if I feel like it. I have to pay for it or sign a contract. A refund is the same thing. The seller has to buy it back from you. There should be no delay in refunding the money. It should be illegal to delay in any way!!!I have been treated exceptionally badly, Ive been threatened, talked to like Im an idiot, and ignored by these scum.
TO WHOEVER READS THIS. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY ANYTHING FROM A T RACING WORLD. If anything goes wrong they will do and say anything to escape responsibility.

My uncle just rebuilt his 308 using pro-comp bearings rings and gaskets. he said the bearings and rings were fine but there was no cork manifold gaskets and the head gaskets leaked water from both sides. had to buy a brand name gaskets set.

Well. The saga continues.
Paypal it seems, has lost all the info I have provided them.
They emailed me last week and said that I have to fax a copy of the invoice I received from the shipping company (Star Trak Express). I sent THAT INVOICE to them on the 23rd of July. I have repeatedly provided (Phone, email and the fax) them with the connote number.
They have acknoledged that they have received all info via email, including the fax and connote number. Paypal have granted me a refund but have not given me the refund. Then they ask for it again and only give me 72 hours!!! Its taken them 3 months to even get to it, then they Lose the relevant info, then give me 72 hours or the case is closed.

When I went to enter the connote number in their connote link in "dispute resolution" the connote link didnt work, which it should have as Star Trak Express is in their accepted shippers list. I went to the Star Trak Express website and entered my connote number and lo and behold, There it was!!
I rang paypal and informed them of the problem with their link and also gave them the connote number. I have emailed them with all the info, even letting them know that the item was returned and signed for..(repeatedly)
Not one of them has bothered to spend 2 minutes checking the connote number on the Star Trak Express web site. That is just too hard for them.
THE PAYPAL PROTECTION IS A SCAM. PAYPAL PROTECTION ONLY PROTECTS THE HIGH TURNOVER SELLERS, NOT THE CUSTOMER.
A T RACING WORLD has stolen @1000 from me. That is a fact. Paypal are either totally incompetant or are aiding and abetting theft from me!

Would the police not be able to investigate this as a clear cut case of obtaining money by deception? They have signed the goods back in so the evidence is all in writing thus an easy conviction for them.

If the NSW cops wont help the AFP have an internet fraud squad.

Thanks Jim.
I hadnt thought of the AFP.. They would be perfect, as this is across state border fraud, which is in their jurisdiction.
Ill do that.

Thanks for the idea Jim.

I suggest that if you are going to involve the police you should not make any further announcements on this or any other forum. No harm in letting the punters know youve been ripped off, but why tell the world your every move.

Hi HK1837
I have posted a link on AussieV8 but the moderators locked it due to their own problem with these same bastards (They threatened to sue AussieV8 because members were bagging their service and product).
Ill post a link on gmh-torana.com.au.

Hi 80569K
I deliberately keep the public informed of my saga so they will Never Ever deal with A T Racing World.
The more people I turn off A T Racing World, the more it costs them. Right now , on this forum alone 2775 people have read it. Thats 2500 less customers for A T Racing world. Each of those will tell 6 people each, thats 15000 people. Each of them could have spent (at some time or another)around $1000 with this company if they were honest. Thats a wopping $15000000 of lost possible sales.
I am waiting until I hear back from Paypal (September 1st) before I report it to the Police. If nothing happens then I will call the NSW Police and the office of fair trading NSW or their equivilant and I will also update the ACCC.
They (A T Racing World) cannot do anything to me. I have all the proof and paper trail. If they dont give me the refund, that is Theft and I will have them charged. Someone has to stand up and do something. No one else is.

Dave, you would be surprised how lawyers can twist and spin the truth in a court room. My advice to you was along the lines of dont tell them your every move because believe me they will be reading and printing out every word you type in all these forums. They can tag all this stuff back to you via your ISP.
Like I said tell the punters that you have been ripped, but keep your tactics to yourself.
Bob.

would have to agree with bob ,

sometimes in court its not about being right or wrong , but who wants to spend more ,
dave if they wanted to sue you fro defamation , it would still cost you 35,000 to defend it , or to they would want want a written and i guess posted appology from you , not say they are right ect ect , but thats just the way it can go , am in the same process now ,

Yes, Bob is right. In war, you never let the enemy know your intentions. Pre warned is pre armed. Although you may be in the right, in all honesty in this day and age it means nothing to a spin doctor ( lawyer ). The law unfortunately does not always side with what is right. Tread softly, carry a bloody big stick and best of luck.

Hi i just read your message and know just how you feel. I recently bought 2 gilmer drive kits 1 with power streering pulley and 1 without and they only sent me 1 gilmer kit. Since being ripped off before in life i not only got an email to say my purchase was successfull but they also sent me my order form confirming my order. So when i rang AT RACING WORLD i soon found out that they where indeed SYDNEY SPEED SUPPLIES. I only found that out when they wouldnt let me talk to at racing and that even tho they are the same place they also have different prices. AT RACING WORLD had the 2 kits for the price SYDNEY SPEED SUPPLIES had just 1 kit. So after many phone calls and the rest of there bullsh*t, the only reason i ended up getting my second kit was that i have these receipts and order forms which confirmed my purchase otherwise they told me to get lost and stop harrassing them over this matter. By the way they DO NOT RING YOU BACK WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. I only hope that you really do your research first before you commit to buy anything. REMEMBER THE OLD SAYING BUYER BEWARE. AT RACING WORLD IS ALSO KNOW AS ANOTHER PERFORMANCE SUPPLIER APART FROM SYDNEY SPEED SUPPLIES BUT I CAN NOT REMEMBER IT SORRY.
