Hi guys,

I have a 92 VP Commodore V6. After parking the car yesterday, the key seems to be stuck in the ignition. The car turns off fine but the key will not come out. I have sprayed some WD40, but this still did not help.

I don't know what else to try, I don't want to take it to a mechanic as they will probably change the whole ignition. There must be another way to get the key out.

Does anybody have any suggestions ?

All help much appreciated.

Cheers.

I ordered a new tumbler kit f

The only way the key could not be removed is if the key wont turn all the way to the lock position. It may have a faulty lock or housing which can also break internally. The steering also may have been forced.Easiest way is to remove complete housing (one S
