I have been discussing some gts rims with a guy that reckons he has two at 14x6 and two at 14x8. My question is did the gts rims come from the factory in 14x8?
The seller is in a different town so hard to tell over the phone. thanks

Hi HQ253,

The HQs as far as my GMH paperwork says, only ever came out with a 14x6 rim. Called either a sport or rally rim.

There were 2 types of rims. 14x6.00JK, and 14x6.00JJ ('74 onward). The JK was canadian built, and the JJ GMH built.

I did hear a rumour that the A9X rims are the same "rally wheel" style, but they are wider..

Maybe this is what they are??

A9X's also ran 14x6 "GTS" rims, but they were a different offset to the normal HQ - HZ "GTS" rims. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the difference in the offset was....

Those are actually 15" pontiac rally rim in the picture, I got the same rims on my car. The center is the same but it just has a 15 inch rim around it. You can do the same with your 14" GTS rims, looks a whole lot better....

So did L34's. They're not actually 'GTS rims' with a different offset as such. They are as far as I know GTS centres in a different 14x6" rim. If my memory serves me correct the actual rim is the same hoop as a HK 6" 'rally' rim. Also based upon

I got ripped I should of hunted around more for prices but I got impatient. The rims were about $700 from the shop then it was about $800 to get them chromed and the back ones widened and painted black. The cheapest way would be to buy the rims separate t
