Stage 1 of my HSV enhanced 5 litre VN Calais rebuild is virtually completed.
Last job in the first stage was to have new short travel stuts installed.
When I went to pick the car up, I looked to check on the job....only to find that whoever did the job chipped the new engine bay paintwork around the strut towers.
What is it with automotive shops these days???
Just because the car is not the latest model, their attitude appears to be "who cares".
I had the same auto garage install a full 3" exhaust system with Pacemakers last week, and the job was fine.
The garage boss asked me why we didn't send them work, like we used to, so I gave him the strut replacement job...now I know why:-(
In all fairness, after doing the nut with him, he did agree to pay for the respray touchup....at Carios bodyworks...one of the best panel shops here in Launceston.

I know what you mean , I used to use a mechanic that had a slack off sider , on one service paper all the boxes were ticked off including `check spare tyre pressure` within a couple of days I had a flat and the spare had about 10 pound in it , I checked t
