I'm in the process of changing the timing chain on my VN V8. The gregories manual says that i need to disconnect the starter motor, air-con and then drop the sump. Does this really need to be done? If so what's the best way to get the air-con off as it seems almost impossible to get to the bolts (the engine is in the car). Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.
