the remote locking for my VR has suddenly stopped working and I have to use the key to lock/unlock. when I do lock/unlock the drivers door the rest of the locks don't unlock or lock.
I didn't have a spare so got a new key cut and programmed today. it starts the car alright but still no remote locking/unlocking.
when I press the button I can hear something clicking under the dash.
I assume the door module is not working. can any VR door module go in or does it have to be programmed?
thanks

Any VR/VS module can go into it.

The modules do fail quite regularly these days, but there's also 2 other faults that are common:
1. The plug in the bottom of the actuator can fall out/dislodge.
2. The door harness wires work harden & break in the door jamb, requiring replacement (any VR or VS1 door harness is a straight swap).

You may be chasing your tail for a little while on this one.
Cheers,

Mick
