Hi,
I have modified a pair of Fine Spline Torana Axles to suit HQ stud pattern and discovered that the studs are now very close to the edge.
From anyones professional or personal experience be able to comment if this is firstly safe and can I bolt up Monaro Steel Rally Wheels to the smaller Torana Drums or if I changed to larger HQ Drums will the Axles suupport the larger drums with the same wheels.
I hate these type of modifications but I've gone to far to stop now so any help would be greatly apprciated.
Can anybe be able to tell me if

I have heard guys over there talk about welding a ring around the outside of the flange.
