have found a gossy manual coupe. lots of rust, but looks reteivable, engine and single rail still in it, interior there, console, dash, even a rear louvre. unreg since 1986, no tags, what should i pay.

Well, I think a restored John Goss in original setup is worth $30-35K, provided it's done right.

If your car is a cancer queen then it's obviously going to require a full resto. The fact that the dash is there is good, the interior not so as your going

The car can still be registered without tags as long as it's not stolen or declared an unrepairable write off. As to how much it will affect the worth of the car is hard to say though the car will definatel be worth less without the tags. Big question i

Hmm..good one Jim but I'd hazard that until it contains some detail it isn't a compliance plate, just an alloy drink coaster with some potential, but you'd need to be very good on the number punches to make this look real and I don't think the proper font

thanks fellas. car is not the advertised car. it really is a project car. rust in the parcel shelf, little in the sills, door jams look good, base of the screen where i expected it to be bad is actually really good, all solid metal. bonnet and engine bay

Good luck with the attempted purchsse mate. Remember that the Goss cars were either blue or green with the
white painted over. So inside the car should be either of those 2 colours.

i would just like to point out, that should the car be legally ok for freind to sell to me, and plates are not with the car, i am not intersted in making fake plates to create any illusions. (no plates means no goss)instead, i would rebuild into my ulimat

if it's a genuine Goss and you plan on getting it, restore it back to a Goss. Although the Goss isn't
as desirable as a GT, it, the Superbird and Cobra are now considered highly collectable. Do up a Goss
and keep it a Goss and the value will a

perhaps your right. first things first, get the damned thing. as any one who has built a project knows, it starts off one way and ends up being something other than planned. will make up my mind after i procure it, and the mates race car is finished. then

I agree Paul its like the one for S.A GTs I think its dated 2005/06 as well people should really look at date of the first post.
