I have a HZ dual fuel 308 with T400 auto. The timing is set at 8 degrees BTDC. I have been told to bump this up to 10 or even 12 degrees BTDC as the car runs 99% of the time on LPG and this needs more advance. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? I'm sure I'll know if I have too much advance, the pinging and run on will let me know!! But I won't change anything if 8 degrees is the right setting already. Thanks in advance.

I've got a HZ 308 TH400 on duel fuel, and I run about 6-8 degrees. LPG likes more initial advance, but less total advance, so advancing the dizzy won't make it right. To do it right you should buy a spark modification system - about $130 for a 'Joker'. Se
