While I don't really expect a result from the 'net,I thought I'd post a list of parts that have recently been stolen here in Northern Tasmania:

1x HSV VR GTS steering wheel.

1x HSV VR GTS 6 speed gear shift knob.

1x HSV VR GTS rear seat complete.
(These seats have the GTS logo woven into the fabric, and as they are not easily obtainable, would stand out if installed in a vehicle other than an HSV GTS).

1x VS V6 engine cover.

1x VT rear spoiler.

If anyone is after a genuine HSV VR GTS engine (not the chev motor, but the 304 stroked to 355 by HSV), and the 6 speed box (no gear knob)....that so far have not been stolen, we have them for sale.

Big 330mm brakes not for sale.....they are going into my HSV VN calais....along with COME Racing heads & twin throttle bodied manifold :-)

If anyone hears of the above parts being advertised for sale....either in Tasmania or on the mainland, we'd very much appreciate hearing from you.

Cheers
Bruce

Thanks Scott.

Looks like we may be onto something regarding the VT wing and engine cover.

We have quite a few "spies" doing the rounds statewide through dealerships, panel shops and car clubs

Thanks Michael....I hope so too!
The worst of it is that if we don't catch them, we know they will be back.
I've personally lost over $2000 worth of tools so far this year from work....not to mention a number of car parts.
In the last 6 months we've lo

I live in a 10,000 population town in QLD and just went on 2 weeks holidays and never even locked the door, but then again I have a 9 year old male Bullterrier who guards the house.
