here is on for you mechanical gurus i have a vt corsa special vehicle with ls1 auto trans my question for you is when i give it a bootfull and use the auto in manual mode or even if i just put auto into 3rd gear the engine warning light comes on and stays on for duration of the drive car still runs fine doesnt miss a beat once engine is turned of the light goes out and goes back to normal after restart any thoughts would be appreciated

maybe go to any mechanic with a scan tool an that should give u an answer. at a guess though i would be thinking the selector module on side of trans
