Can someone shed som light why a NZ GTS monaro doesnt any numbers/letters for the Body # on the Body id tag?
Also i have a question on my own Ht gts. i only have a vin and Body id tag on it. Know this matches a 69 or early 70 model. Sydney made 629604th vehicle.(told approx april?) Body tag is mounted as second one in on drivers side with original rivits in all and in holes where an adr plate could go. Is there an order the plates should be mounted as i have seen them mounted both ways before each other on vehicles that have them both and also where ther is just the one Body tag. Brought as 69 model. Know maybe 70 but can it be with jus the Body and vin tags?

They do have a number. The green one on Ebay is photoshopped out for security.
All 1970 build should have an ADR plate. If it has holes where an ADR plate should go it is probably a 1970 build but the ADR tag is missing. Export didn't have the ADR tag but they had goo in the holes like the green one on Ebay. 1969 should have the BODY tag where the ADR tag is on 1970 build. There may be some anomalies though that probably only Ben Stewart or someone else with really good knowledge on these may know. |

NZ ebay gts told just sold.After Asked him why does the body tag pic (with Body # missing) look like it is in differnt position than in the engine bay picture. Plus looks unpainted in one pic n not the other. Strange. Was organizing someone to go n have a look at it for me but like i said told just sold. looks nice car
