“Its no coincidence that we are holding this launch here at HART today. HART is one of this country’s leading accredited providers of rider training, and we continually work on ways of reinforcing the safety message to new riders as they come through these doors and leave with a license or permit in their hand.”
Honda’s factory riders, Adam Fergusson, Josh Brookes and Judd Greedy also attended the launch to show their support of the vital services provided by RACESAFE.
“There is no way I would be back racing in this year’s Championship if it wasn’t for these guys,” Brookes said regarding his accident last year in Western Australia that left him with a fractured pelvis.
“Having a higher level of medical support gives all of us a little peace of mind when we’re out racing.”
Simon Maas, RACESAFE’s Chief of Emergency Services said they are “very much looking forward to Honda’s involvement.”
“RACESAFE could not function without the support of others. The doctors and nurses who staff the Team volunteer their time at each event which is an indication of how dedicated they are.”
Mass concluded by saying that RACESAFE is very grateful to Honda for agreeing to be a major sponsor for 2005.
