Hey all chasing measurements for toploader and singlerail ,from front of bellhousing to center of crossmember mount.have changed from auto to manual in xw using singlerail box and using toploader bellhousing .crossmember not lining up.thought between the to boxes was the same measurement but there must be difference between box size and bellhousings.using toploader bellhousing so I can use hyd clutch.6cyl.

Is this a 6 or V8, the reason I ask is cause of your 6 cylinder hydraulic clutch set up comment?

So the easiest way to tell whether your box is too long or not would be to jack it up to it's approximate position and try and install the tail shaft.

If the tail shaft fits then it's merely the gearboxes mout that is in the wrong place and as you say you may have to fiddle with the mount by possibly making up a plate.
