Contemplating selling my HK GTS however am really struggling with a value. Very original HK GTS has had rust repair and a respray in original colour. Have the original 186s and opel 4 speed and original parts put aside that matches the original documentation. Now has period correct 307 and glide out of a hk brougham. Very original car still runs original master cylinder and interior etc (no rips). All tags and documentation. Happy to post photos but dont know how to.

Anyone know of any selling lately and what sort of money they are going for. Been keeping an eye out on ebay and carsales however they are either in need of rebuilds or high end fully rebuilt cars and modified cars nothing to really guage my own off. Bright blue metallic and black by the way. Main reason for contemplating selling is wanting an an E38 or E49 charger since i was a kid.

Thanks for any help

Thanks for any guidance

best to put it up on ebay with high reserve & see what offers are out there at present. bous is you still have original driveline!! it juss aint all about V8s & modds anymore for th real enthusiast

regards DD

Took youre advise but its getting pretty close to reserve. Getting nervous now, should have put a higher reserve on it. Might get that charger yet.

edelbrock1 - Pretty good point you make there, did not think of it that way

Chances are it will not sell on eBay, but it is a pretty cheap way of advertising it to the whole country. Need as many people to see the ad as possible and eBay is the way to do it.

Serious buyers will contact you during the auction, but the deal is usually done after.

Dave - Have thought about ebay but dont want to screw genuine people around as anyone thinking about spening decent coin are certainly going to want to check the vehicle out.
Cheers

WAHK80737 - I did contact him a while ago however he wasnt offering cash and pretty keen on a Powerglide
Cheers

HKGTS186S was chasing something pretty close to what you have ... might even bend to the opel if you're lucky and he's still looking ... but I'd say money he was talking about is the exception rather than the rule. Good luck!

"Hi
Again i am putting out a wanted ad for a HK GTS 186S Monaro in Bright Blue Metallic.
I am not concerned with boom and bust prices , talk of buying and selling etc etc
This car will not be for sale if i buy it.
it is for me , prefer an original car though it can be restored.Matching numbers or to be specific more importantly all original matching drivetrain , tags etc etc preffered.
Must be a HK GTS 186S Monaro Bright Blue Metallic with factory black vinyl interior and factory powerglide.
Will pay boom or bust prices , seriously.
I too like most others would like to see these return to a more accepted price , though i want this combo so i am Willing to pay.
Up to $55 000 for the right car , with books and history etc etc.
Might sound like a long shot but have waited to find my desirable combination.
Prefer WA car but MORE THAN HAPPY to buy AUSTRALIA wide.
Just message me here or PM.
