Could any of you wise Holden people tell me if there was a option for cloth trim inserts on a Hg premier as on Ht/k. Mine has red borrock vinyl which is starting to come apart at the stitching and is very brittle. If it was an option I thinking of replacing the vinyl with cloth inserts of a similar pattern. This could do away with finding someone to replicate the pressed pattern on the back of seats.

Thanks Davo. I know what you mean about the dark cloudy effect in the red. This stitching plitting is spoiling an otherwise very neat car. Was there cloth inserts options in the any other colour interior trim in HG Premiers?

yes but only black or beige in a raised diamond pattern (called castillon weave in th HG prem brochure, but thats what HT inserts were)

regards DD

Greetings, The material has a name - Dynasty. Also used in LC Toranas.

red boroque for hg was only available in vinyl. no one has duplicated th blotchy clouded black background & prob never will as it wouldnt of been more than 10% available in that colour
