Ultra Flo offers modern performance (with the `growl’…)

The recently relaunched Lukey Performance Exhaust range combines 40 years of race heritage with the latest technology – and there is no better example than the Lukey Ultra Flo.

Available in two variations – Stainless Steel or Aluminium-Coated Mild Steel (ACMS) – it follows the traditional performance muffler concept with a straight-through design for maximum flow and power.

The high chromium polished stainless steel Lukey Ultra Flo has stainless steel wool wrapped around the perforated tube and is packed with hi-temp Continuous Roving Fibreglass (CRF) for maximum sound control.

The ACMS Lukey Ultra Flo is constructed from 1.2mm ACMS with a 409 stainless mandrel-bent continuous perforated tube and is also packed with hi-temp CRF for maximum sound control.

Graham Pyne, product manager for Walker Australia, said the Lukey Ultra Flo was designed for customers who wanted "the ultimate in performance".

"Enthusiasts who are passionate about performance demand optimum flow from their muffler," said Graham.

"So, rather than crush-bend the perf, which can restrict the flow of gases through the muffler, the Lukey Ultra Flo is mandrel-bent to give a constant inside diameter and a better, more consistent level of performance.

"It’s the ideal product for the driver who wants performance as well as that famous Lukey growl."

Both the ACMS and Stainless Steel Lukey Ultra Flo are available to suit pipe sizes of 2-inch, 2¼-inch and 2½-inch with the Stainless Steel version also able to suit 3-inch pipes.

Drivers of Ford Falcons or Holden Commodores fitted with independent rear suspension (IRS) can also fit the ACMS Lukey Ultra Flo to their vehicle. Available with a 2½ inch internal diameter tube, the barrel is manufactured by double wrapping 0.7mm ACMS to optimise sound absorption.

The Stainless Steel Lukey Ultra Flo muffler is backed by a 5-year warranty, and the ACMS Lukey Ultra Flo muffler is backed by a 2-year warranty.
