A side step and rail combination for HiLux 4x4 vehicles that work in rugged locations is part of the range of new Genuine Accessories.

The new sidestep and rail can be fitted to all HiLux 4x4 vehicles - except SR5 and cabchassis - fitted with a Toyota Genuine steel bullbar.

The black steel powder-coated rail connects to the steel bullbar to provide increased protection for the front fenders.

The checker plate aluminium and steel sidesteps also increase protection to the underside of the vehicle.

A rear step towbar with an 1800-kg capacity (where state regulations allow) is also new to the HiLux accessory range.

The new towbar, which features a wide non-slip checkerplate steel step, can be fitted to all HiLux models.

"HiLux owners can place even more faith in their "unbreakable" workhorses with the launch of these new accessories," Toyota Australia’s Rory Macdougall said.

"The new sidestep and rail, and the tow bar, have been developed by Toyota’s Conversions and Accessories Engineers to strict standards. These new protection accessories will be popular with operators who really give their HiLuxes a pounding - farmers, tradesmen, and the construction and mining industries."

The list of HiLux accessories also includes steel, alloy and polished alloy bullbars.

There is an alloy 4x4 bullbar that is a winch-compatible bumper replacement type and can be fitted with driving lights.

The alloy "breaker" bar is made from high grade polished alloy and delivers front-end protection with distinctive styling.

The 4x2 powder-coated steel nudge bar is designed to provide protection for the undercarriage, bumper and headlights and is airbag SRS-compatible.

The range also includes a bonnet protector, roof racks (for both commercial and recreational use), a tonneau cover, floor mats, headlight covers, weathershields, an insect screen, and fabric seat covers.

A Superguard helps to deflect bugs from the windscreen and is made from tough, durable, tinted acrylic.

The HiLux accessory range is covered by Toyota’s three yeaall00,000 kilometre accessory warranty if fitted at the time of purchase of a new vehicle.

Otherwise, Toyota Genuine Accessories are offered with a warranty that matches the remaining new vehicle warranty.
