Having started production of mini passenger cars in October 1970, the Kosai plant, one of Suzuki's four main plants, has achieved the manufacturing total of ten million automobiles.

The first five million units had been produced in 20 years and the second five million units in half that time.

Alto, Wagon R and Swift are a few of the value jacked products that have come from the Kosai factory and today, the plant is enjoying full operation, building a car every 44 seconds.
