Limited
Edition X-Type offers luxury for $79,990
JAGUAR’S
limited edition X-Type LS, which goes on sale this week, is based on an
X-Type 2.5 SE with an extensive list of luxury equipment and added
features included for $79.990.
There are also some interior styling changes with
all models featuring sand coloured leather with sable contrast
stitching, a wood & leather steering wheel, walnut veneer and
gearknob and lambswool mats. Additional features included as standard are
satellite navigation, 10-way electrically adjustable seats, front
sliding armrest, heated seats, automatic headlights, reverse park aid,
power foldback rearview mirrors, electrochromic rearview mirror and rain
sensing wipers. These features give the X-Type LS all the luxury
features imaginable to make driving straight forward and to allow the
driver to concentrate on the road ahead. X-Type sales continue to grow in Australia and
sales for 2003 are up a further 10 percent on 2002 year on year. Jaguar Australia managing director Danny Rezek
says the X-Type LS' subtle exterior changes signal the addition of some
great features. "Driving this limited edition means that the
car does a lot of the thinking for you – it works out when your
headlights should be on, the windscreen wipers need to be activated,
directs you where to go through the satellite navigation and guides you
safely into the tightest car parking space," Mr Rezek said. "And the best attribute is that you get all
of this for $79,990 with automatic transmission and Jaguar's
all-wheel-drive system as standard." The X-Type LS is available this week at Jaguar
dealerships. |
