Australia’s top-selling four-wheel drive, the Honda CR-V, has reached 30,000 units in just three years of sales.

Year to date, the CR-V has achieved 10,258 units – more than 1000 units ahead of long-time 4x4 wagon champions Toyota LandCruiser (9008) and Nissan Patrol (7269).

The CR-V is more than 3000 units ahead of its direct competitors in light 4x4 wagon, the Subaru Forester (6679 units) and Toyota RAV4 (6256).

And to celebrate the 30,000 milestone, Honda Australia is offering its popular CR-V range at special drive away prices for a limited time.

The CR-V and CR-V Sport will be sold with free registration, third party insurance, statutory charges and dealer costs from today (Wednesday November 22) to Sunday December 10.

The CR-V is powered by a 108kW 2.0-litre engine that delivers 182Nm of torque.

Equipped with class-leading interior space, the CR-V also has a long list of standard features including air-conditioning, dual SRS airbags, remote central locking, power windows and mirrors and four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension.
