Mark Taylor to captain the Ford Rally

Former Australian cricket test star, Mark Taylor, will captain the biggest team of his career when he leads the Ford Rally, as part of Ford Australia’s 75^th Anniversary celebrations.

Driving an awe-inspiring Ford T-series, Taylor will lead hundreds of Ford vehicles of all types and vintages from Sydney to Melbourne.

The Ford Rally will reach Ford’s Melbourne headquarters on March 31^st. On April 1^st Ford enthusiasts from around Australia will join Taylor for breakfast and autographs on the Plant lawns, before leading the "conga line" to Geelong.

A highlight for all Ford Rally participants will be a visit to the Ford Proving Ground en route to Geelong, where they will drive Ford’s usually top secret testing facility and lap the high-speed bowl.

The Ford Rally will finish on Sunday April 2 in a massive free street party on the Geelong foreshore, with Rally cars, famous Fords and Ford racing teams all on display.
