"In a country renowned for its design quality, it takes a very special product to be selected above all others as the definition of good design," says Bill Gillespie, General Manager for Suzuki in New South Wales and the ACT.

"The Jimny succeeded because its original and distinctive design was combined with Value for money, superb build quality and excellent on-road performance and, therefore, takes quality design and technology to the widest possible market."

Launched at the Sydney International Motor Show, the Suzuki Jimny is available in three versions, the Jimny JX at $16,950 and the well-appointed Jimny JLX at $18,750 in manual for and $20,250 with a four speed electronic automatic gearbox. All versions of the Jimny boast factory-fitted air conditioning as standard.
