sold 886 vehicles in October, with the Voyager
reaching 193 unit sales -- its best performance
for the year. "Chrysler

"Voyager has amassed
motor vehicle awards around the globe -- last
year it won North American Car of the Year, and
in Australia it has just won Radio 2KY's award
for Best People Mover," said Bronwyn
Humphrey, marketing manager, Chrysler Jeep
Australia.
"We recently released
the Iong-wheelbase version of the current volume
seller -- Chrysler's Voyager SE -- and we expect
this new variant to spur sales even further
along," she said.
Chrysler's seven-seat
3.3-1itre V6 Voyager was launched in Australia in
March this year.
Cult 4WD Jeep Wrangler also
reported strong sales in October -- 143 unit
sales -- its second-best result this year.
"Wrangler is a
seasonal seller and we are moving into its peak
selling period -- the long, hot Australian
summer," said Mr Needle.
So far this year Chrysler
Jeep Australia has sold a total 8821 vehicles --
a 50 per cent increase over sales recorded in the
same period last year.
