Suzuki WA is celebrating spring with the release of a limited number of special factory-built silver-on-silver Sierras.

Definitely a reason to keep your sunglasses handy, the silver Sierras feature special Mercury Silver metallic paint, colour-matched bumpers and complementary interior trim, chromed wheels and, in the case of the soft-top, a special body-coloured canvas hood.

"The silver finish makes these Sierras striking looking cars," said Suzuki WA General Manager Peter Reading.

"They really are distinctive, and very, very stylish . . . especially so in the case of the convertible."

The silver Sierras will also be relatively rare, with Suzuki Japan building only limited numbers during a restricted three-month production run.

Despite the extras and the exclusivity, the silver Sierras are no more expensive than their less reflective relations. Recommended retail price for the soft-top is $16,690, with hard-top versions retailing for $17,690.

"Limited stocks are currently available direct from dealers," said Mr Reading.

"More are already on the way from Japan, but people are really going to have to hurry if they want to secure themselves one of these special, limited edition silver Sierras."
