Subaru has launched a new special edition All-Wheel Drive Liberty
Wagon which offers a number of additional features at a significantly reduced price. These
special features include twin sunroof, anti-lock brakes, twin airbags, climate control
air-conditioning, alloy wheels and enhanced interior trim.
The special
edition offers great value for money as these features normally retail for more than
$6,000 but are now available with the special edition Liberty for only $3,800 more than
the recommended retail price of a GX AWD Liberty wagon. (Called the Silver Anniversary
Edition Liberty in recognition of Subarus 25th anniversary in Australia,
it is similar to the anniversary model sedan announced in January.)
The award-winning Subaru Liberty has the highest possible levels of safety,
performance, longevity, comfort and reliability. Standard features of the All-Wheel Drive
Liberty include a 2.2-litre boxer engine, power steering, AM/FM radio/cassette with CD
player, remote central locking and height adjustable drivers seat.
The Silver Anniversary Subaru Liberty is available with either five speed manual or
four speed automatic transmission and of course has All-Wheel Drive as standard. The five
speed manual version of this special edition vehicle retails for $35,790 while the
automatic version has a recommended retail price of $37,690.
Only a limited number have been imported, and are available in three colours - white,
silver and aqua mica.
Subaru vehicles are fully imported from Japan and are renowned for their quality,
safety, performance and commitment to All-Wheel Drive (AWD) technology.
All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is an inherent part of Subarus automotive philosophy,
offering both the highest levels of active safety and driving enjoyment.
All-Wheel Drive means maximum grip because the engines power is directed to all
four wheels, not just the front or rear wheels. Therefore it ensures excellent stability,
road holding and traction on any surface - rain, hail or shine.
