Nissan Australia's director of sales and marketing, Mr Paul Stead, confirmed Nissan
dealers throughout Australia were looking to a strong finish in the final quarter of 1998.
"Pulsar with 12 months free comprehensive insurance (to approved purchasers) has
been a great success and added to Maxima with in-car TV, the ongoing success story of
Patrol and a strong media buy through to the end of December, Nissan and our
Australia-wide dealer network are committed to finishing 1998 in style," Mr Stead
enthused.
He added his praise for the contribution of Nissan dealers to the companys 1998
success.
"Every month since December 1996 we have comfortably beaten our sales targets in
every state," Mr Stead revealed.
"Sure, Nissan has provided the foundation by putting in place very good marketing
support and advertising, but it has been the Nissan dealers throughout Australia who have
been the real achievers in our success for the last 22 months."
