Lexus has released an
upgraded version of its GS300 sports luxury sedan, which is now equipped with
larger diameter, 17 inch wheels as standard equipment.The GS300's tyres (previously
225/55 VR16) have been uprated to lower profile, wider and higher speed rated 235/45
ZR17s.
Inside the cabin, Lexus has enhanced interior illumination and improved access to the
vehicle’s child restraint anchorages.
The upgraded GS300 went on public display for the first time at the 1998 Sydney Motor
Show.
A rear wheel drive, five speed automatic performance vehicle which utilises benchmark
technology, the Lexus GS300 can accelerate from zero to100km/h in 7.9 seconds.
It has the most advanced engine in its class and was the first luxury car in Australia
with intelligent variable valve timing.
