Great value Sportage FX returns
The great outdoors just became easier to reach
Kia Australia has reintroduced its popular Sportage FX limited edition
model just in time for summer, and for buyers who are quick enough, the value is
fantastic.
From now until the end of November the Sportage FX is available at the same price as
the base Sportage - $23,990 - but Sportage FX buyers will receive, at no extra cost:
- Alloy wheels (five of them, not just four)
- A four-speaker compact disc sound system in place of the normal four-speaker cassette
stereo
- A Sportage FX luxury spare wheel cover identifying the limited edition.
The additional equipment comes in addition to the Sportages existing long list of
standard equipment, which includes:
- Air conditioning
- Drivers airbag
- Selectable 4WD which can be engaged at speeds up to 80km/h
- Dual range transmission
- Front seat belt webbing clamps
- Power windows
- Power steering
- Power mirrors
- Central locking
- Engine immobiliser
- Vacuum-operated automatic free-wheeling hubs
- and plenty more.
"Since the launch of the 1999 model in June Sportage sales have been well up, and
I expect the FX pack to increase business even further," said David Hughes, the
General Manager of Kia Motors Australia.
"The Sportage has always been great value and the FX has always been the stand-out
deal of the range, but based on past experience our supplies wont last long."
