![]() Champiro rated best value in tyre test MOTOR magazine has rated GT Radial as the best value tyre in its segment, stating "it came out winner in the value for money stakes." The magazines annual tyre test was published in its October 1999 edition.
GT Champiro produced above average results in dry braking, cost/ wear ratio and pricing evaluations. The judges said of the GT Radial tyre: "Producing tyres to the standard set by the competitors in this test isnt learned overnight. "(It was a) surprise how good they felt. Our tester had no complaints about excessive understeer, noise or wheelspin in the dry tests. "Allied to the lowest cost price in the group, the GT Radial came out a winner in the value-for-money stakes." This was GT Radials frst entry into the renowned MOTOR tyre test.
