![]() iD Series bodykit released for Astra (and a price rise slips in..)
Customers can now individualise their new Astra with a well-integrated iD Series
package, highlighted by a sporty rear spoiler, bold new front bumper treatment, body
coloured side skirts, rear bumper skirt, chrome exhaust, striking 16x 6-inch 5-spoke alloy
wheels and 205/55 tyres. Gerry Groenewegen, Holden's marketing manager for small and medium cars, believes the
availability of iD Series body kits and HBD options will boost Astra's already strong
market appeal. "Now they have the flexible opportunity to order just the look they want. It's an
additional incentive to buy a car that is widely recognised as a value-for-money package
with exciting aesthetic appeal; a car that offers high feature levels, advanced safety
systems and great performance."
The wider HBD range (dependent on model choice) includes a tilt/vent sliding one touch electric sunroof, sound systems, leather-bound steering wheel, power antenna, Power Key-controlled audible alarm system, cruise control, country roo bar, 'dual fuel' LPG option, wagon cargo barrier, self-levelling rear suspension and SatNav.
To consolidate its positioning in the compact-sized passenger car market as a high quality vehicle that delivers an exceptional level of standard equipment features, the top-specification Holden Astra CD now comes with stylish 15-inch alloy wheels as standard. Recommended retail pricing for manual and auto models has increased by $500 and is now as follows:
The addition of alloy wheels complements
the distinctive, European-flavoured styling that has proved such a factor in the success
of the Holden Astra City and CD models, which benchmark new levels of technology,
performance and refinement in small cars. |
