To commemorate its 50th Anniversary, Holden has launched a
specially designed range of casual clothing known as Holden Originals.
 Holden fans - male and female - can now declare their allegiance by choosing
from a co-ordinated selection of 'Proudly Australian - Holden Originals Since 1948' gear
that includes denim shirts, classic polo tops, rugby tops, T-shirts, jackets, anoraks and
caps. According to Holden's Director of Marketing, Kevin
Wale, there has been high initial demand for the clothing range, which is available at
Holden dealerships across Australia and can also be purchased at major motor sport events.
"Holden Originals was introduced specifically to mark the golden anniversary of the
introduction of the first Holden. At the same time, it adds further dimension to the
existing Holden Special Vehicles, Holden Racing Team and Brock collection which is
successfully marketed by HSV through the national Holden dealer network. It already seems
obvious that this new Holden Originals family brand will prove equally as popular with
fashion-conscious Holden enthusiasts," Kevin Wale said.
