Holden is offering buyers of its
Combo 'little big van' the opportunity to redeem
$500 worth of signwriting on their new vehicle. The free signwriting offer is valid
until 31 December, 1997. On taking delivery of a
new Combo, buyers receive an authorisation
certificate from their Holden dealer. The $500 is
redeemed when Holden receives a copy of this
certificate, an original copy of a signwriter's
invoice and a photograph of the van wearing its
new livery.
The signwriting offer
follows a successful mail-out program that
invited Holden Combo owners to send in
photographs of their vehicles at work. The
company received hundreds of photographs, showing
off a wide variety of creative and
attention-getting designs.
"Combo makes an
excellent moving billboard for all kinds of
business operators because of its unusual and
very 'paintable' shape," said Megan Stooke,
Holden's Marketing Manager for Small and Medium
Cars.
"Because of its price
advantage and low running costs, its 545kg load
capacity and car-like comfort and safety
features, Combo is already a real winner with
commercial buyers and small business operators.
"This extra $500 in
free signwriting makes it an even better buy -
and we're looking forward to seeing a lot more
colourful examples on the road," said Megan
Stooke.
Holden's own colourful
example is the Combo Redback: a striking showcar
special, complete with cobwebs, spiders and
17" wheels, that wowed the crowds at
Sydney's International Motor Show.
The purpose-built Holden
Combo recently benefited from an upgrade that
boosted the power of its economical 1.4 litre
engine by 36 per cent, while also delivering
suspension and chassis improvements and a fresh
new look.
