Hi guys,


I have a 1977 Holden HX Premier sedan, which still has the original wiper motor fitted. I was wondering how do I remove this if I want to fit a chromed unit. Is this done from inside the car, or is it simply bolted to the firewall.

You have to remove the wipers, and the grille in front of the screen. There are three or four phillips screws under the grille, and about six under the bonnet. The wiper arm linkage has to be disconnected either at the clip or off the shaft of the motor,
