The oil pressure light in my ss (2002 model) keeps coming on, normally after ive driven the car for about 10 minutes it flashes on then back off again. The oil level is normal and normal in colour. Any idea what this could be? and can i drive the car still?

yeah first things first go to your local auto store and pic up a new sendor unit

try that out first, they should be relativly cheap

if it doesnt fix it you may have bigger problems but always check the sender first

On the Gen 3 V8 it's not a normal oil 'sender' or switch, it is a 3-pin sensor like a TPS & they're priced over $100.
