Hi Chandler,
I am a member of the West Australian Buick Club, I suggest you contact a branch of this Australia wide group for model identification.
If you can quote engine number wheel size and or body style, these will give them a fighting chance to do the ID,

Sounds like it might be later than 1930, but more than that I cannot say.

By the way "Chandler" is the name of a car in the 1920's too.

Is this a genuine enquiry or a fishing trip?

Surely there is something in the pile of parts that you can describe?
Or are you saying that there is no engine, no body, no doors and nothing with a number on at all!

All Buick mechanical parts I have seen have numbers on them.

Oh and by the way as far as I know Pontiac was different car and no componet except for the air in the tyres and the water in the radiator is interchangable, I fail to see how a reference to Pontiacs is of any use whatsoever.

i found a plate on the chassi where the front right wheel would go on. it was badly damaged and corroded i did the best i could and found some numbers on it and they were 19163_6 could not find a digit in between the 3 and 6 and still not sure if these are right as this plate is badly damaged/aged the internet told me to find it there as this is where the chassi/vin numbers were rivoted to the vechicles between 1926-1931 this chassi/vin number was found, the emblem on the front of the radiator is the blue and white one with buick writen diagonally across it and over laps the edge doing a bit of home work this emblem was used on models between 1913-1927... its a two door the doors are long and tall if this helps

Yes this sounds close, chassis number might suit either master or Standard by my limited records.
Think the engine might be a 1926 by the casting date, there should be a engine number on an aluminum plate the same type as the Chassis number.

Two door models had larger doors just like modern cars, I have a mate that has a 1925 one of those 2 door coaches. ( same body )

Originally there would have been a square aluminum plate on the firewall with a list of tyre pressurres this plate would have something like 26 - 20, 26- 40, 27 - 20 or 27 - 40
this is the model identification of the car, without this you may see a Buick Club person with that model to look at the componets to work it out,
Which state are you in, I might know someone?

Mike
